Beginners Yoga Series with July Johnson
Are you new (or new-ish) to yoga? Are you looking to deepen your yoga practice by revisiting the basics? Whatever it is that brings you to your mat, we welcome you! Join July Johnson in this 6-class introductory series. This series is designed for beginners (those brand new to the practice as well as those who have been practicing yoga, but desire dedicated time on the foundational shapes, poses and alignment principles). Over the course of 6 classes we will cover Sun Salutations, standing poses, balancing, forward and back bending, twisting and many more as the class grows and evolves. At the end of the 6 classes, students will feel ready to join a Steady or Fiery flow class with confidence in their knowledge of poses, safe alignment and muscle memory. All classes will move at a beginners pace with modifications given to allow for tight muscles and different body types.
